The park is opened from dusk to dawn or sunrise to sunset.
Free. There is not charge to visit the park.
- There are multiple entrances to NC Freedom Park. The marked Accessible Entrance faces N Wilmington Street.
- Visitors will encounter changes in the surface; including some uneven pathways; stairs; gravel, dirt, or brick paths.
- Benches are available outside at various locations around the site.
- Service and emotional support animals are welcome at Freedom Park. For a definition of a service animal, please see the Americans with Disability Act (ADA) definition.
- Wheelchairs and public telephones are not available.
- There are no public restrooms at Freedom Park. The nearest public restroom can be accessed in the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources Building (109 E Jones St, Raleigh, NC 27601)
