Raised in the tobacco farmlands of Virginia, Roymieco Carter's artistic journey was influenced by his rural upbringing. His curiosity about culture, identity, and language was sparked by the sights and sounds of his early life. After earning his BFA in Art and Advertising from Virginia Commonwealth University, Carter pursued an MFA in Graphic Design at Penn State. His work seamlessly blends design and painting, challenging perceptions and igniting discourse. Carter's artistry serves as a catalyst for introspection and dialogue on global platforms. His commitment to shaping the social narrative of creativity, legacy, and kinship is evident in every brushstroke. Carter's art leaves an indelible mark on the cultural landscape, enriching lives and inspiring future generations.
