Volunteer Opportunities
Interested in volunteering with the North Carolina African American Heritage Commission? We are seeking community members from across the state with interests in African American history, art, and culture for assistance in our programming efforts. Volunteer training will take place in Raleigh, NC.

Community tabling events (ongoing)
Volunteer requirements:
- Interest in African American heritage and culture
- Reliable transportation to and from events
- Friendly and approachable personalities
- Ability to share information with all demographics (age, race, gender, etc) related to African American heritage and culture
- Able to attend at least one training session with AAHC Staff (Required for AACC only)
- Able to volunteer on evenings and weekends
