Join public history practitioners Carmen Cauthen, Lydia Elrod and Khadija McNair in a conversation with the Associate Director of the NC African American Heritage Commission, Natalie Rodriguez. The panelists will discuss strategies for amplifying the legacies of everyday Black people in North Carolina through avenues such as documentary filmmaking, activism, writing and historical interpretation.
They will offer tools anyone can use to begin preserving their own family histories.
