Crumpler’s Restaurant was listed in the Green Book from 1950 - 1951 as “Crumpler’s — 207 Hillsboro St.” under “Restaurants.” 1

Crumpler’s Restaurant, also known as Crumpler’s Green Cottage Tea Room, was located at 207 Hillsboro Street in Fayetteville, North Carolina. A 1949 advertisement in The Carolinian described it as “a cozy corner with home cooking.” 207 Hillsboro Street had five storefronts (207, 207a-c, and 207 ½); the businesses in this building changed frequently. Crumpler’s Restaurant was only open for a brief time  - it was not listed in the city directories for 1948-1949 or 1951.2
